Adjunct Professor of Taxation

Andrew Zumwalt, MS, CFP®, is an adjunct professor of taxation at The American College of Financial Services. He is also an associate teaching professor in the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of Missouri.

After completing a Bachelor of Science in Consumer and Family Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in economics at the University of Missouri, Zumwalt earned a Master of Science in Consumer and Family Economics from the University of Missouri. His graduate work involved assisting extension faculty in creating a statewide Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

After completing his MS degree, Zumwalt continued on full time with the University of Missouri Extension to support and expand the VITA program across the state. For 16 years with the MU Extension, Andrew created personal finance curricula, served as a statewide contact for personal finance, and oversaw over $2.6 million in related grants and contracts as principal investigator.
