In the 2003 James A. and Linda R. Mitchell Forum on Ethical Leadership, the American College Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services convened a group of financial services executives and leading academics to discuss ethical issues relevant to the industry today.
Specifically, the group discussed multiple scenarios of ethical quandaries and how they could be resolved. These included hiring and firing of relatives, company-owned life insurance payouts, and focus on shareholder values.
