In the 2002 James A. and Linda R. Mitchell Forum on Ethical Leadership, the American College Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics in Financial Services convened a group of financial services executives and leading academics to discuss ethical issues relevant to the industry today.
Specifically, the group talked about whether a strong ethical framework within a business could translate into more powerful outcomes for that business. Hiring and poaching agents from competing companies was also discussed.
