Kay Blunck
CFP®, ChFC®, CAP®, CRPC®, AEP®, Series 7, Series 66
Member, NextGen Advisory Task Force
Kay has a heart for service and is always looking for ways to give back to her community. She can often be found working with local nonprofit organizations to educate their board, staff, and donors about creative and beneficial ways to give or make an impact. As the spouse of a first responder, she tends to gravitate towards organizations that support those who serve, or children. She credits her heart for service to her grandparents and heroes, Ruth and Garnett Simpson. Kay currently serves as a board member for The Foster Care Council and Military Missions (Lexington). Other organizations she supports include Stable Recovery, Box of Balloons, and Crusade for Children.
Kay has been married to her husband, Lyle, for 10 years. They have two young children, Jay and Lucy. Kay graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2015 and says she will always bleed blue. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching the Wildcats play ball, and baking. In Kay’s words, “I am southern, I know to feed ya and to pray for ya.”
