Fatima T. Williams, FSCP®, is a financial services professional with New York Life Insurance Company and its affiliates. She is intentional about educating the black community on how proper risk and money management can safeguard what they earn, what they own, and who they love.
Williams has taken on the responsibility of making her clients aware of the financial services available to them and the benefits of beginning financial planning as early as possible. She has a passion for behavioral finance and how money scripts can predict the financial behaviors of consumers.
While in school, Williams discovered her passion for the inner workings of the entertainment industry. She became well-versed in the many facets of music, television, and events production. In 2013, after developing her skills in event planning, marketing, and advertising at various companies, she established her own marketing and brand management house, BESPOKE Experiential. It was during her time in the entertainment industry that Williams realized her calling to be a connector of people.
Williams is proud to be a part of the 1,500+ agents of New York Life Insurance Company that make up the African American Market Unit. Their goal is to equip the Black community with financial protection through their $50 Billion Economic Empowerment Plan and beyond. Recently she composed a four-course curriculum on the intersections of financial literacy and social justice entitled "Where Does Your Money Reside?" Williams is also an active board member of Honeypot Montessori, Inc., a nonprofit, Black women-owned micro-school based in New Jersey.
Williams is an alumnus of Howard University and Full Sail University. In addition to being a licensed insurance agent, she is a Registered Representative for securities products and services through NYLIFE Securities LLC. She is also a Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®).
