An executive coach and adjunct professor at The American College of Financial Services, Dr. Jason Heller, PhD, CFP®, CIMA®, MSFS, RICP®, ChFC®, CLU®, CAP®, CMFC®, AAMS®, CRPC®, CFS®, FSCP®, AWMA®, CRPS®, BCAA, AEP®, CFBS®, CDFA®, RMA®, CIS®, CAS®, CES®, AIF®, BFA™, APMA®, CFED®, ChSNC®, AFC®, WMCP®, LACP®, CPFA®, C(K)P®, AIFA®, CSRIC® teaches Behavioral Finance in the Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) Program and various courses in the Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®) designation.
In addition to his teaching duties, he is an executive at Coastal Wealth, where he is the head of the Planning Solutions Group. He plays a critical role in leading a professional team of para-planners, product line specialists, financial planners, and advanced market professionals, who work together to help clients make informed decisions. His experience includes the development and implementation of strategies to help clients achieve their goals to grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth.
Prior to joining Coastal Wealth, Heller worked as an investment specialist at MassMutual South Florida and Guardian Life Insurance after he managed his own private practice for several years. In 2007, Guardian named Heller their National Investment Specialist of the year. He is a lifetime qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table, and a qualifying member of the Court of the Table for ten years. Heller also qualified for Top of the Table for two years.
Heller received his PhD at The American College of Financial Services for financial and retirement planning. He also has two master’s degrees in financial services from the Institute of Business & Finance and The College. Heller has earned thirty-four industry designations, including the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®), a designation given jointly by the Wharton School of Business and the Investments & Wealth Institute, along with the Retirement Income Certified Planner® (RICP®).
Heller graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where he also played college basketball. He is an avid University of Miami athletics fan. He is married to Jessica, and they live in Ft. Lauderdale with their two children.
