Glenn Boseman, DBA, CLF®, CLU®, RICP®, is Professor Emeritus of Leadership at The American College of Financial Services. As former holder of the Roger Hull—James S. Bingay Chair of Leadership, Boseman’s research interests are in line with the mission of the Chair to identify qualities of leadership in business, education, and government, and to encourage their development in potential leaders through teaching and mentoring.

Dr. Boseman was instrumental in the creation of the Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®) designation and the Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree program at The College. Dr. Boseman has many years of experience in financial services and serves as a consultant to various companies in the profession.

The specific focus of his research and consulting is facilitating an individual’s transition from manager to leader for both corporate and field office operations. He is the author and co-author of numerous books and articles in scholarly and professional journals.

Prior to joining The College in 1981, Dr. Boseman taught management at Temple University with a one-year interruption to serve as Visiting Scholar of Management at the University of Western Australia.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Campbell University, a Master of Business Administration from East Carolina University, and a Doctor of Business Administration in organization and administration from Kent State University. In 1985, he received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Chartered Leadership Fellow® (CLF®) designations from The American College of Financial Services.

Dr. Boseman’s professional memberships include the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Academy of Management, the Academy of International Business and the Decision Sciences Institute.
