John "Boomer" Stufflebeem

Boomer Stufflebeem is a former professional athlete, retired U.S. Navy admiral, business owner, and specialty leadership coach with Diversified Professional Coaching, LLC (DPC). As a professional football player, he learned and practiced an elite level of teamwork development and execution for success while also recognizing the value of team over individual accomplishment. As a career military leader, he built organizations and led them into combat in varying positions of ever-increasing responsibility while conquering every challenge.
Stufflebeem owns NJS Group, LLC, a crisis management and strategic communications firm, and leverages his leadership-under-extreme-stress experiences from the gridiron and battlefield to inform corporations, medium-to-large private companies, executives, business owners, and NFL clubs to enhance winning and success through elevated leadership. His extensive experience in developing leaders led Stufflebeem to join DPC to adapt his executive leadership coaching skills to the financial services profession.
In sharing his extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, training, and developing leaders, Stufflebeem focuses his skill as a certified professional business coach for financial services professionals. He previously coached leaders in industries that include the U.S. Military, Lockheed Martin, ADARA Networks, FOXFIRE Printing & Packaging, NFL Players Association, New England Patriots, Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, LEVERAGE (Disability & Life Insurance for pro athletes), and Capitas Financial.
Stufflebeem has been a long-time teacher/instructor training teams going to war with formal training from centers of excellence, such the Center for Creative Leadership, the Navy’s Fighter Weapons School, TopGun, and the Professional Business Coaches Alliance as a business owner. After leading in war at various levels, he synthesizes the lessons learned from decades of instruction and accomplishment to “make leaders better.” He also provides clients with a proven course of instruction and coaching to navigate news media strategies that is currently used by the Department of Defense and the NFL.
