Douglas B. Turnbough is an adjunct faculty member at The American College of Financial Services.
In 2005, Turnbough joined Edward Jones as a financial advisor, eventually becoming a limited partner with the firm in 2010. Turnbough also has an extensive volunteer history with Edward Jones, including serving as a regional field trainer leader, field trainer, mentor, regional academy leader, level leader, and visiting veteran. Turnbough is also a member of the Lafayette County Health Department Advisory Council and the University of Missouri Industry Advisory Board/Personal Financial Planning.
Turnbough’s other previous roles include chairman of the Odessa Economic Development Council, co-chair of the Odessa/Bates City Enhanced Enterprise Zone, president of the Odessa Optimists, president of the Odessa Rotary Club, and president of the Odessa Chamber of Commerce.
Turnbough earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia with majors in both economics and finance. He earned two Master's degrees from the College for Financial Planning, one in personal financial planning and one in financial analysis, and two Master’s degrees from Washington University School of Law, with one in legal studies and the other in tax law.
Additionally, Turnbough has earned multiple professional certifications, including his Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®), Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and his Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ (AAMS™) designations. He is currently pursuing his doctorate at Rockhurst University.
